Mamie Loretta Humphreys Powell passed away peacefully Sunday April 12, 2026, in Clifton Forge, Virginia.

She was survived by her two sons, Jeff Humphreys and his wife Dawn Humphreys of Steeles Tavern, Virginia, and Mutt Humphreys and his wife Christy Humphreys of Montebello, Virginia, eight grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren.

Before retiring, Mamie worked in food service at Wintergreen Ski Resort in Nelson County, and as a retail clerk at Rose's Department Store in Staunton, Virginia. She was an active member of the Staunton Moose Lodge for many years.

A graveside service with family and friends will be conducted at 2:00 pm, Thursday, April 16, 2026, at the Mt. Paran Baptist Church Cemetery officiated by Pastor Billy Coffey at 7140 Irish Creek Road, Montebello Virginia.
