Margaretann Floyd Fretwell, age 87, passed away on Tuesday, May 06, 2025.  Born October 28, 1937, she was the daughter of the late Wilson W. Floyd and Mattie Louise Berry Floyd of Staunton, VA. In addition to her parents, Margie was also preceded in death by her sisters, Ellen Crump, Mary Lou Taylor, and Betty Jo Floyd; and her late husband, Robert "Jim" Fretwell.

Margie is survived by her son, Scott Rosen (Dorinda); step-sons, Gary Major (Gloria) and Eddie Major (Linda); grandson, Lochlin Rosen; step-grandchildren, Mandy (Steven), Dawn (Nathan), Joshua, and Jeremiah (Kim); great-grandchildren, Parker, Hunter, Laura Kate (Nathan), and Laynie (Kyle); and her great-great grandchild, Wylder Rome.  She is also survived by her high school sweetheart, Bobby Mack and a beloved friend, Penny Fields. Margie also had many nieces, nephews, friends, and other loved ones.

A private graveside will be conducted by Gary Major and Mike Woods at the family cemetery.

Memorial contributions in Margie's name may be made to Hospice of the Shenandoah, Blue Ridge Chapel Church of the Brethren, or Waynesboro Manor Nursing Home.
