Mary Joann Conrad Grasty, age 79, of Fishersville, passed away on Saturday, February 19, 2022 at Augusta Health in Fishersville.  She was born March 25, 1942, to the late Edward Conrad and Agnes S. Schwartzhoff in Ohio.  In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband Phillip Grasty.

Mary is survived by her sister Judy Newlan; half siblings, Grace Hammons Louisiana and Tom Conrad Louisiana her children, Daniel Davis and wife Theresa of Florida, Peter Davis of New York, Mark Davis and his wife Loann of New York, Timothy Davis and his wife Francesca of Henrico, Elizabeth Wine and her husband Steve of Waynesboro, stepchildren Lisa Brubeck, Heidi Emore, Lori Hall. Grandchildren Nicole Velazquez, Sarah Wine, Eric Davis, Daniel Davis, Bryan Davis, Justin Davis, Kayleigh Davis, Michael Davis, Micah Wine, Quinn Davis, Noah Wine, Peyton Davis, Jessica Hall, Gracia Whorely, April Parrish, Jeremy Burroughs, and J. T. Thompson and numerous great grandchildren.

Mary's hobbies included baking, crafts, and gardening.  She had a successful career as a computer programmer. Mary enjoyed singing and was a member of the Staunton Choral Society for many years. She dedicated her life to the Lord loved being an active member of Cornerstone Church of Augusta.

A memorial service will be conducted at 12:00 pm on Saturday, February 26, 2022, at McDow Funeral Home.  Interment is private.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Friday, February 25, 2022 at McDow Funeral Home.
