Mary Ellen Roberts Truslow, age 71, of Waynesboro, passed away at her home on Wednesday, September 29, 2021.  Born July 21, 1950, she was a daughter of the late Ellis W. and Gertie Dean Roberts.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her former husband, George Coffey; a son, James Coffey; a grandson, Aaron Coffey; a brother, Junior Jarvis; and three sisters, Shirley Patton, Nancy Harlow, and Barbara Cox.

Mary is survived by her husband of 47 years, Roger L. Truslow; three sons, Allen Coffey and his wife, Wendy, Timmy Coffey and his wife, Tina, and Ronald Truslow and his girlfriend, Rebecca Wells; a daughter, Tammy Blevins and her husband, Mike; a bonus daughter, Rebecca Wells; grandchildren, Derick Coffey and his wife, Danielle, Ryan Coffey and his wife, Mary, Dustin Coffey and his wife, Brieanna, Dakota Coffey and his wife, Kelsie, LaToya Clements-Downs, and Brittany Truslow, Dylan Truslow, Coleman Coffey, Caleb Coffey, Tucker Coffey, and Shane Coffey; great grandchildren, Kennedy Coffey, Autumn Coffey, Walter Coffey, and Tanner Coffey; brothers, William Roberts and Charles "Tea Bo" Jarvis; sister, Judy Harris; and many extended family members.

A graveside funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 am on Monday, October 4, 2021 at Riverside Cemetery in Waynesboro, VA.  Rev. Merle Fisher will be officiating.

The family will receive friends from 2-4 pm on Sunday, October 3, 2021 at McDow Funeral Home in Waynesboro, Va.
