On Monday, June 15, 2020, Michael Lee Brown, Sr., loving son and father, passed away at the age of 48. Mike was born on September 16, 1971 to Emil "Butch" Brown and Doris J. Brown.

He is preceded in death by paternal grandparents Emil Anthony Brown and Hazel Margaret Craft Brown; maternal grandparents Mason Lee Brown and Phyllis "Granny" Brown Yount.

He leaves behind his parents Emil E. "Butch" Brown and Doris J. Brown of Waynesboro; former wife and good friend Julie Roadcap Brown and their son Michael Lee Brown II of Crimora; his daughter Jordyn Reagan Maybush, her husband Damon Maybush and their two children Dallas and Tyson of Crimora; his sister Cherri A. Simpson and her son Robert Mason Simmons; a very special niece Ashley Nicole Simpson and her fiancé Michael R. McCrary, and their daughter Miranda Grace McCrary, who was very special to Mike. He also leaves behind a number of special nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, and numerous special friends.

Mike was a self-employed carpenter for many years. He enjoyed time with his family and friends, four-wheeler riding, cookouts, corn hole, fishing and hunting.  If you ever needed someone to make you laugh, he always had a joke.  He had a heart of gold and would give anyone the shirt off of his back.  He never left without saying "I love you." He also leaves behind his dog, Ester, who was preceded by his faithful dog and companion Leroy Brown.

Due to Covid 19, no service will be held at this time. A celebration of his life will be announced at a later date.
