Michael Ray Hall, better known as "Mickey", passed away Thursday, April 20, 2023 in his home. Mickey was born on March 25, 1962. The youngest of 7 children born to the late Howard "Sammy" Hall and Clara Bell Hall.

Mickey dedicated his life to auto body repair and restoration and was well known and sought after for his talent and skills. He spent many years employed by Warren James Automotive, but preferred being self employed and remained that way until his last day.

He was proceeded in death by his parents and three brothers, Ronnie, Bim, and Robert "Bo" Hall, as well as a grandson, Gavin Ramsey.

Mickey is survived by a daughter, Misti Hall, and her children, Tyler, Amber, Camden, Alivia, Mason, and Sophia Ramsey as well as his brother Donald Hall (Patricia) and two sisters Annette Campbell (Ronald) and Rita Mayo. He also had a close bond with his nephew, Donnie Hall, and great nephew, Charlie Hall, although he is survived by many nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles, cousins and friends who loved him.

The family would like to extend a special "thank you" to Alvin Lenahan and his family as well. Especially Haley Harlow who stayed with him and attempted to resuscitate him until first responders arrived on scene. We are also very thankful for the Albermarle County first responders.

As Mickey was a very private, "no fuss" type of man, there will be no service out of respect for his wishes. The family will hold a small, intimate gathering at a later date on his behalf.
