Nancy Jane Benson Frazier, 76, passed away on Thursday August 24th 2023 in Fishersville, Virginia.

Born on August 2, 1947 the daughter of the late Tom Wallace Benson and the late Edith Iona Hoy Benson of Waynesboro, Virginia.  Nancy was preceded in death by her husband Luther (Buddy) Franklin Frazier.

Nancy had an unconditional love for her family. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, trips to the beach and shopping with her sister, daughter and granddaughter. She worked as a waitress at Weasie's kitchen for many years and later as a caregiver for her grandchildren.

Surviving family members are sister, Judy Shiflett and husband Keith; two sons, Tommy Frazier and wife Angela; Danny Frazier and wife Lisa; daughter, Tammy Lipscomb and husband Johnny; grandchildren  Matt and Nate Frazier, Makayla Frazier and fiancé Ziggy Dodson; Makayla, Bailey and Kenley Ross; Brittany Anderson and husband Cody, J.T. Lipscomb and fiancé Hannah Sparks and Jessica Prather; great grandchildren, John-Luke Lipscomb and brother Beau and Zaxton; nephews, Kevin Shiflett and wife Michelle ; great nieces, Paige and Madison Shiflett.

The family wishes a special thank you to the entire staff of Augusta Nursing and Rehabilitation Center for the excellent care given to our loved one during her stay.

A visitation will be from 6 to 8 pm Monday August 28, 2023 at McDow Funeral Home.

A graveside service will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday August 29, 2023 at Augusta Memorial Park officiated by the Reverend Dennis Bradley Sr.
