Obituary

Paul Douglas Doyle, 61, a resident of Waynesboro, VA, passed away Monday July 12, 2021 at the University of Virginia Medical Center.

He was born October 23, 1959 in Waynesboro, VA, a son of the late Charles Curtis Doyle and Hazel Jane (Henderson) Doyle.

Paul was a kind and loving person, with a strong faith in God and Jesus. He was an avid huntsman, fisherman and golfer. He retired after 33 years with NIBCO in Stuarts Draft.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his great niece, Cameron Pace.

Surviving are his brother, Charles Robert Doyle and wife Teresa (Furr) Doyle; sister, Jeanie Gale Lunsford; nephew, Steven Charles Doyle; aunts, Margie Gray Dameron, Beverly Henderson, and Nancy Rebecca Henderson; nieces, Carrie Ashlee Royse, Tabatha Anne Lunsford, Amy Gail Wiggins and husband Paxton, and Elizabeth Faye Lunsford; great-nephews, Liam Joseph Doyle, Conner Charles Doyle, Ian Royse, and Paxton Wiggins, Jr.; and numerous loving cousins and friends.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM Monday, July 19, 2021 at McDow Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday, July 20, 2021 in Augusta Memorial Park. Active pallbearers will be Mike Coffey, Wayne Painter, Brian Dawson, Eddie Dameron, Robert Painter, and Zachary Selmon. Honorary pallbearers will be Steven Doyle and Abraham Saunders.

Memorial contributions may be made in his name to St. Jude's Children's Hospital, or to Tunnel to Towers Foundation ( https://t2t.org ).
