Paul S. Reed, 82, a resident of Stuarts Draft, passed away on May 4, 2026 at Augusta Health Shenandoah House in Fishersville. He was born July 3, 1943 in Albemarle County and was the second son of the late Billy D. Reed and Evelyn Fitzgerald Reed.

Paul graduated from Waynesboro High School and worked as an appraiser for over 40 years in the surrounding counties.  He was united in marriage to Patricia A. Reed, who survives, in 1966.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, Clyde David Reed and Steve Reed and one sister, Linda Ross.  Paul leaves behind a son, Tim Reed and wife Charlene, of Waynesboro; a daughter, Debra Fultz and husband Matt, of Verona; and a son Michael Reed.  Paul had a special fondness for his grandchildren:  Wesley Reed, Emily Reed, Natalie Reed, Dustin Bailey, and Kayla Fultz as well as nephews and cousins.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to Dr. Christopher Heck of Shenandoah Valley Hospice and his caring team of nurses.

A graveside service was held at 11 a.m. on Friday, May 8 at Riverview Cemetery with Pastor Ely Guzman officiating.
