Paul Dean Sager went to be with the Lord on Saturday July 16 ^th , 2022 at the University of Virginia Medical Center.

Paul was a kind and giving man his whole life. He never met a stranger. He loved life with his family and friends. He was always laughing and loved to joke around with people. He was the best husband and father anyone could ever have.  He was always there to help and talk to. He will be deeply missed by everyone.

Paul was born June 21, 1936. He was the son of the late Price and Bertie Sager of Timberville, Virginia.

On August 20, 1961 he married Nina Mae Moyers, who survives.

He was preceded in death by his brother Orville Sager; sister, Amelda Goliday.

He retired from The Virginia Department of Agriculture after 43 years of service.

Paul is survived by his wife Nina; two children, Teresa Sager Hagwood and Terry D. Sager and wife Andi; two Grandchildren, Troy Dustin Hagwood and Karlye Deanna Sager; three great Grandchildren; Cheyenne Hagwood, Kenna Hagwood and Ryan Laine Hagwood; one sister, Jean Clark and many nieces and nephews

Paul also had a special friend Torey East.

There will be no visitation or service per his wishes.
