Phillip Eugene Hall, 59, a resident of Waynesboro, VA, passed away Tuesday May 4, 2022 at his home, surrounded by his family.

He was born August 5, 1962 in Marion, VA, a son of the late Fields and Fannie (Church) Hall.

He was a 1982 graduate of Waynesboro High School.

Mr. Hall loved the outdoors, everything plants and always looked forward to Arbor Day. He was gifted with being able to quote every book of the Bible. His favorite was Philippians 4:19.

He loved his family, and held a special place in his heart for his grandchildren.

His memory will be cherished by his daughter, Tiffany and Eric Day; 4 grandchildren, Autumn, Evan, Camilla "Camie", and Haily; 4 brothers, Charles Hall (Suzie), Roger Hall (Patsy), Frank Hall (Judy), and Jeff Hall (Sandy); 2 sisters, Dinah Cash (Ray), and Darlene Rankin (Frankie); and numerous nieces and nephews.

There will be no formal services at McDow Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date.
