Priscilla Lee Kirksey

Priscilla Blackwell Kirksey, 79, passed away peacefully on Monday, October 5, 2026.

Born on January 2, 1947, she was the daughter of the late Schuyler L. Blackwell and the late Dianna C. Blackwell of Crimora, Virginia.

Priscilla was preceded in death by her late husband Frank Kirksey and the father of her children Stuart Weaver Sr.; brothers, Harvey A. Blackwell and Albert J. Blackwell; her sister, June B. Shifflett; her son, Kevin A. Weaver; and her stepson, Butch Kirksey.

She is survived by her sister, Lettie Stickley. Priscilla was a member of Edward Avenue Baptist Church and worked at Westinghouse. She also proudly served as the vice mayor of Grottoes.

Those left to cherish her memory are her son, Stuart Jr., and his wife, Kris; her daughter, Cynthia Weaver and her husband, Doug Nikstaitis; and Lovae Brown. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Stephen (Candy), Jeffery, Austin (Raffa), Kullen (Kelly), Kirksey, Gracie, and Chloe; and her great-grandchildren, Calvin, Emma, Emmalyn, Adalyn, Noah, and Schuyler.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, October 9, 2026, at McDow Funeral Home, officiated by Pastor Mark Wingfield. The family will receive friends at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, prior to the service.

Interment will follow at 12:30 p.m. at St. Paul Cemetery in Weyers Cave, Virginia.
