Rebecca (Becky) Wood Miller, 81 passed away at Augusta Health on Saturday, September 20, 2025.

Becky was born June 1, 1944 to the late William and Marjorie Wood of Waynesboro, Virginia.

She is preceded in death by her loving husband of 54 years, Freddie L. Miller.

Surviving are her children Crystal (David) Anderson of Gardner, Kansas and Monica (Chris) Garber of South Bend, Indiana. Grandsons Noah Carson Anderson, Jackson Anderson and Christian G. (Chelsea) Anderson, Granddaughters Morgan, Cate and Maddie Garber and Shiloh Anderson and two great granddaughters. Also surviving is her sister Linda Wood of Harrisonburg, Virginia and niece Chelsea (Brian) Sampson of Harrisonburg, Virginia, as well as several other nieces.

Becky graduated from Wilson Memorial High School, and received her Licensed Practical Nursing license. She worked at both Kings Daughters Hospital in Staunton, Virginia and Waynesboro Community Hospital for many years. She also worked at Hopeman Brothers and Stanley Furniture before becoming Church Secretary at Basic United Methodist Church until her retirement. Becky was an active member at Basic, in her Circle and serving on Mission Trips to St. Lucia. She was also active in the Emmaus Community and made many wonderful friends.

Becky enjoyed cruising, scrapbooking, watching the birds out her kitchen window. She was a wonderful mother, sister and Grammie, and loved her family deeply.

A memorial service is being planned for the week of Thanksgiving in Waynesboro, Virginia.
