Robert Kent Martin died peacefully at home on January 11, 2023.

Robert was born August 21, 1941, graduated high school and served in the Army National Guard. He worked as a barber for 62 years. He enjoyed bowling for many years and loved spending time with his family.

Preceded in death are his parents, Samuel and Kathleen Martin, wife Marie Martin, daughter Gail Benson and grandson Dakota Falls.

Robert is survived by his brothers, Ray, Stoney and Frank Martin. Sisters Joanne and husband Paul Briggs, Sandra and husband Charles Dull. Son Kevin Martin and wife Kristen, daughters, Linda Hinerman and husband Bill, Debra Williams and husband Joe, Teresa Falls and husband Jeff.  Robert also had many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Family and friends are welcome for family night from 5:00 to 8:00 pm, January 17 ^th and a funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. January 18 ^th at McDow Funeral Home in Waynesboro  officiated by Pastor Bill Cole with graveside to follow with Military Honors by the Army National Guard.
