Roger Cleveland "Frog" Allen, 76, a resident of Stuarts Draft, VA, passed away Tuesday, October 17, 2023 at his home.

He was born May 2, 1947 in Augusta County, VA, a son of the late W. Raymond Allen and Maggie (Fitzgerald) Allen.

He was a lifetime truck driver known as "Virginia Streaker" for numerous trucking companies. He was a member of Vesuvius Baptist Church, Blue Ridge Moose Lodge #2135, and the Blue Ridge Bear and Coon Club.

In his spare time, Roger loved bear hunting, spending time at the camp, NASCAR and local racing, and spending much time at the garage with his friends.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Pat (Wade) Allen; brothers, Manley Allen, Everett Allen, and Wesley Allen.

Surviving are his sisters, Faye Humphries and husband Jimmie, and Brenda Allen; numerous nieces and nephews; his girlfriend, Janice Torrence; and longtime friends, Jimmy Hemp and Shannon Logan.

A Celebration of Life for Roger will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, October 29, 2023 in the chapel of McDow Funeral Home, officiated by Pastors Theresa Moore and Billy Coffey. The family will receive friends following the service.

Memorial contributions may be made in Roger's name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105; or to the Blue Ridge Bear and Coon Club.
