Roger Gene Lowery, 69, of Lyndhurst passed over to his heavenly home, February 21, 2022 at UVA Hospital.

He was born in Charlottesville, VA on May 16, 1952. He was predeceased by his mother Fleecy A. Lowery; great grandson Joseph Matthew Lowery; stepson Curtis Coeyman.

Surviving family include his long time companion and best friend of 23 years Gladys Coeyman; daughters Angela Lowery, Crystal Cox; son Chris Lowery (Tanya); special grandson Matthew Lowery; granddaughters Heather Lowery, Ashlen Lowery; grandson Anthony Swink; granddaughter Parker Coeyman; great grandchildren Serenity Lowery, Ellie Mae Lowey, Brayden Shank; and brother Joe Lowery (Anna).

Roger loved hunting, dirt track racing, and talking to people.

Visitation will be held Thursday, February 24, 5:00 – 7:00 pm at McDow Funeral Home in Waynesboro, VA. A funeral service will be held Friday, February 25 at 1:00pm officiated by Pastor Rob Mansfield and special friend Michael Cesaro. Burial will follow at Augusta Memorial Park.
