Roger Lee Shifflett, 77, a resident of Earlysville, VA, passed away Tuesday, October 22, 2024.

He was born May 10, 1947, a son of the late James Carl Shifflett and Elva Iverna (Marshal) Roberson.

He was an avid fisherman, but more than anything else he loved spending time with his family and friends.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Cindy Shifflett; brother, James Carl Shifflett, Jr.; sisters, Shirley Ann Morris and Earlene Rita Simmons.

Surviving are his children, Glenn Morris, Teresa Thompson, Wendy Shifflett, and Donnie Shifflett; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sister, Margaret Louise Shifflett; special great-niece, Crystal Gibson; and his loving caregivers and niece, Donna and Mike Gibson.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, October 30, 2024 in Augusta Memorial Park, officiated by Pastor Travis Kidd.
