Ronald "Ron"  Eugene Johnson, 77, passed away peacefully Sunday July 20, 2025 in Fishersville, Virginia.

Born on November 1st, 1947 to the late George and the late Rachel (Tyree) Johnson of Waynesboro, Virginia.

Ron was preceded in death by two brothers, George Johnson Jr. and Anthony Johnson.

Ron was a veteran having served time in the United States Army.  He was an avid hunter, fisherman, enjoyed watching his beloved granddaughter play softball and spending time at his cabin.  He retired from Coors Brewing Company in Elkton and leaves behind many long lasting friendships.

Survivors include his wife Susan Swink Johnson; daughter, Kimberly Hensley and husband Scott (Pistol) Hensley; sister, Alice Fisher; granddaughter, Samantha Hensley and a great friend Curley Montgomery.

A Visitation will be held 11:30 am to 1:30 pm Friday July 25th, 2025 at McDow Funeral Home. Burial will be immediately after the visitation at Augusta Memorial Park.
