Samuel Ray Martin went to be with his Heavenly Father on December 31, 2023 with his daughter by his side.

Samuel (Ray) was born February 27, 1938 to the late Sam and Kathleen Martin.

Preceding him in death was his love of his life Carolyn Sue Ford Martin and earlier last year his brother and Best Friend Robert Martin.

Ray retired from Genicom and loved spending time with family.

Ray is survived by his one and only child Denise Stevens and her husband Steve; two grandchildren, Renea Carter and husband Mike, Michael Stevens and his wife Kecia; seven great grandchildren, Derek, Angel, Aaron, Michelle and Colten, Trisha and Ayden; four siblings, a number of in-laws and many nieces and nephews.

McDow Funeral Home has been placed in charge of the services.

There will be no public services per his request.

In lieu of flowers the family ask that contributions be made to Casa de luz house of light at www.casadeluzlv.com where his great granddaughter is Education and Media Director with this ministry.
