"Winky" Sharon Landes, 61, of Waynesboro, passed away Saturday, February 1, 2020 surrounded by her loving family.

She was born May 1, 1958 in Waynesboro, the daughter of the late Gene and Maurice Lucas.

Winky was a 1976 graduate of Stuarts Draft High School. She was a housewife and a loving mother. She enjoyed making flower arrangements and doing crafts, but what brought her the most joy in life was being with her sons, visiting with her grandchildren and spending time with her family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Teddy Landes.

She is survived by two sons, Cody Landes of Waynesboro, and Corey Landes and his fiancé Kaylie Perry of Verona; two sisters, Diane Coffey and her husband Garland of Sherando and Tonia VanDevander and her husband Randy of Sherando; 4 grandchildren, Madison, Emma, Zoey, and Trenton; nieces and nephews, Chastity, Shane, and Matthew, Ethan, Easton, Elin, Dylan his wife Melissa and their unborn child, and Jenna, and Bently.

She leaves behind a very special long-time friend, Bronson Marshall, also Sonya, Nana and Rylind; and many special loved cousins, aunts and an uncle.

A graveside service will be held at Riverview Cemetery, Friday, February 7, 2020 at 1:00 PM.

The family is accepting guests at Diane Coffey's house, 1787 Mount Torrey Road, Lyndhurst, VA 22952.
