Thomas Franklin Garber, 38, a resident of Waynesboro, VA, passed away Wednesday, November 22, 2023 at his home.

He was born April 4, 1985 in Waynesboro, VA, a son of David Franklin Garber and Karen Garber.

He owned and operated True Capital Investment Services, and worked there up until the time of his passing.

Thomas loved hiking, fishing, rock climbing, and scuba diving.

Surviving, in addition to his parents, are his brother, Michael Edwin Garber and wife Kelly of Whitetop, VA; sister, Elizabeth Garber Wetterling and husband Steve of Atlanta, GA; aunts, Ann Reinhard-Kelsven and husband Fred, Ella Sue Parker and husband Jim, and Barbara Austin; uncle, Donald Roy Kirk and wife Nava; nephews Logan and Erik Wetterling; nieces Hope Wetterling, Emma and Mia Garber;  step-grandmother, Nancy Garber; fiancé, Cristal Moreno; and his faithful companions, "Romulus" and "Remus".

A celebration of Thomas' life will be held Saturday, December 16, 2023 at 2:00 PM in the chapel of McDow Funeral Home officiated by Dr. Fred Holbrook. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that memorial contributions be made in his name to the S.P.C.A., or the American Cancer Society.
