Thomas Mark Rusmiselle, 66, passed from this life on Saturday, November 6 ^th , 2021.

He was born on August 6 ^th , 1955 at King's Daughters' Hospital in Staunton.

Tom was preceded in death by his parents, Guy and Betty Rusmiselle.

Survivors include his brother, Tim Rusmiselle of Waynesboro and a number of cousins.

He graduated from Wilson Memorial High School and went on to work for Ken Bridge Corporation. Too fiercely independent to marry, he joined the Marine Corps and served in both California and South Korea. On discharge from the Marines, Tom went to work for United Parcel Service retiring in 2018.

Tom was an avid supporter of the NRA and regularly attended gun shows. He was also a generous person, supporting area food banks. He had an abiding love for animals, especially cats.

Memorial contributions may be made to the SPCA.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM Monday, November 15, 2021 at Riverview Cemetery, officiated by Rev. Dr. Glen Holman.
