Vada "V.V." Robertson McDaniel, 81, of Waynesboro, died Thursday, November 9, 2023.

She was born March 12, 1942 in Waynesboro, Virginia, daughter of the late Louis and Olga (Costelli) Robertson.

She worked for many years in the bakery of several stores, lending her talent of decorating beautiful cakes. Vada loved reading and watching birds, in her spare time.

She was a faithful member of Bridge Christian Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Alan D. McDaniel.

Surviving are her 2 daughters, Michelle M. Jones and husband, Ashby; Annette M. Halterman and husband, Mark; son, Thad McDaniel and his wife, Chea Green; 5 grandchildren, Dustin, Ashley, Joshua, Kelsey, and Kiley.

A graveside service will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, November 15, 2023 in Augusta Memorial Park by Pastor Todd Brown.
