Virginia Angela (Harris) Walsh, 96, a resident of Waynesboro VA, passed away Saturday, September 24, 2022.

She was born October 21, 1925 in Roanoke, VA, a daughter of the late Elmer Saunders Harris and Ruth (Merritt) Harris.

She graduated from Waynesboro High School, and later retired from General Electric after many years of service.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Olden N. Walsh; sister, Elizabeth Harris Phillips; an older brother; a special niece, Patsy Phillips Cooper; and a special nephew, Charles Phillips.

Surviving are two nieces, Jean Ann Alexander and Deborah Yancey; two nephews, Maynard Dale Phillips and Howard M. Yancey, Jr.

A graveside service will be held on Monday, October 3, 2022 at 11:00 AM at Augusta Memorial Park, officiated by Pastor Bill Cole.
