William Otho Lambert went to his heavenly home on October 6, 2021.

He was the son of the late William Oscar and Ethel Moyers Lambert. He was born in Ziegler, West Virginia on January 1, 1932.

He is survived by his wife June Talley Lambert; stepdaughter Debbie Weaver (David Burford) of Waynesboro, VA; step grandchildren James Weaver (Jill-Marie) of Roanoke, Ashley Hall of Fredericksburg, VA, Krista Weaver of Charlotte, NC; great grandchildren Alex and Abby Weaver of Roanoke, VA and Corey Hall of Fredericksburg, VA; brothers: Charles Lambert (Janet, deceased) of Waynesboro,  Warnie Lambert (Geneva) of Dayton, Va,  Ona Forest "Chuck" Lambert of Staunton, Roger Stuckey of Ohio, Jack Lambert (Frisky) of Franklin, W.V; and sister, Betty Mongold of Staunton.

He was preceded in death by sisters June Ord, Faye Downey, and Velma Lambert.

Mr. Lambert served in the United States Navy and retired from E. I. Dupont after 33 years of service. He was a longtime member of Waynesboro Church of the Brethren. He loved his church, keeping his yard immaculate, and feeding all the squirrels, birds, and dogs in his neighborhood.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, October 12, 2021 at 12:00 noon at the Waynesboro Church of the Brethren, 364 Bridge Avenue, Waynesboro, VA followed by his funeral at 1:00pm. Burial will be at Augusta Memorial Cemetery, Goosecreek Rd., Waynesboro, VA. Pastors Todd Crowder and Dot Mellott will conduct the service. Pallbearers will be David Burford, Jimmy Weaver, Dan Moody, Rick Womble, Tommy Crickenberger, and Ken Coiner.

McDow Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
