William Loyd Stiteler, Jr., 93, passed away December 26, 2020 at his residence, surrounded by his family.

He was born February 13, 1927 in Clifton Forge, VA to William Loyd Stiteler, Sr. and Ruby (Miller) Stiteler.

He graduated from East Carolina University earning his Bachelors Degree.

He was a Navy veteran of World War II, and retired as an FBI Special Agent after 25 years. Bill was a faithful member of Basic United Methodist Church in Waynesboro.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 58 years, Nancy Lee Hughson Stiteler.

Surviving are his son, Hugh (Melanie) of Waynesboro, VA; daughter, Lynn of Waynesboro; grandson; Jason (Nicole); great-grandchildren: Luci, Mila, Koda, and Iva Bea of Charlottesville.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Blue Ridge Area Food Bank, P.O. Box 937, Verona, VA 24482-0937.

Services will be private for the family.
